Hi,
My name is Jay. I want to congradulate you on your podcast. I have been listening to all the pioneers of podcasting for quite a while, and I saw your link on ipodder.org. I just wanted to let you know that I listened and thought it was a fine podcast. Found your podcast setup informative, and your story of Mount St Helens erupting interesting. Also, I will be checking out the show Lost after you mentioned it. So, anyway, I think your doing fine. Keep it up, and don't sweat the small stuff regarding how you podcast. Perhaps you could have a "bed" song, and I did listen to most of your "song of the day".
Thanks,
Jay in Tallahassee

Hey Jay! Thanks. Great to get some feedback. I was listening to the IT conversations podcast of "maximizing your blogging potential" and it got me thinking a little more about format specific for the medium and I have to say that I think my show is WAY too long. I shortened the second one to under 30 minutes, but I think I may make the next one even shorter and just do it more often. If you end up reading this, what would you say is the best aspect of the show? Tips? Music? Personal stuff or what? I want to tighten things up a bit. I'm thinking the perfect format length for this medium is under 30 minutes simply because of the number of shows vs. the number of hours in a day. Yes, there will be podcast addicts, just like there are aggregator addicts. But the typical listener only has a set number of hours a day set aside for listening. Most of us will land in the recycle bin. Whatcha think?
